Michael Phelps may have that iPod before he takes a dip, but you can blow his gold medals away with the sound from the Clark Synthesis AQ339 Aquasonic.
This pool speaker promises crystal clear sound, even while you’re listening under water. The Aquasonic line has actually been around since 1995. The new version promises a quicker install to get you twisting by the pool pretty fast.
Promising up to 400 watts of sound, the AQ339 simply drops into the water and is hung by a tether half of the depth of the pool. Other features include a frequency response of 10Hz to 800Hz (tactile) and 20Hz to 17kHz (overall), perfect for lap swimming, relaxing, or the occasional chicken-fight.
“Today, underwater speakers are one of the hottest accessories being installed in new and existing swimming pools,” says to Bill Phillips, president of Clark Synthesis. Hey—it sounds like fun to us.
