Cingular Music Service

Cingular is hoping that you will ditch your iPod, PC, stereo and any other method to play music. Maybe not, but they are probably hoping many will ditch their current cell provider for the option to have more music on their phones.

They are a little late to the music game, but Cingular just announced that they are going to partner with Yahoo!, Napster, eMusic and XM to make up for lost time.

The service would allow subscribers to download music to their phones, as well as transfer CDs.

A formal announcement is expected to come on Thursday.

  • Transfer CDs in MP3 format
  • Supports WMA files
Follow Electronic House on Facebook and Twitter.
