A good home theater chair is hard to find. It needs to be comfortable enough for those marathon movie sessions. If it’s a really good one, you’ll have a hard time getting out of it. Cineak wants to create a better seating experience, announcing a few enhancements and even a new model.
That new model is the Grafton Club Chair. It has a wooden design element on the armrests and back of the chair, which you can customize by choosing the wood and/or color. However, this isn’t some hard, wooden chair. It boasts all sorts of luxury materials and cutting-edge technology, including a motorized footrest, which can adjust the footrest to one position while keeping the seat and backrest in another.
Cineak will be showing the Grafton at this week’s Integrated Systems Europe show. Once it’s released, it will be available as a stand-alone chair and loveseat, as well as customized in seating configurations sharing armrests.
If you’re looking for something besides a comfy place to sit, Cineak has also announced a few new seating add-ons. One of those adds the option of heating and cooling ventilation to the actual chair. Get kind of toasty sitting through a Star Wars marathon? This option cranks air or heating to the seat and backrest of the chair. Besides making for a more comfy experience, Cineak says that this option can actually warm and releax your muscles as well.
Last, but certainly not least, Cineak is also offering the new LaunchPort as an option. This is an iPad mount that’s integrated into the seat’s cupholder. Not only does it allow homeowners to incorporate the iPad into their movie watching, but it also charges the portable and tucks away all of its wires for a clean installation.
Check out the Cineak website for more information about the new features and current seating models available.
