Chief Manufacturing’s MountBuilder configurator site
Whether it’s for your projector or flat-panel TV, mounts and mounting accessories can play an important part in your home theater setup.
Chief Manufacturing is making things easy for you to figure out exactly what you’ll need, or what you may want to match to your room, with its new MountBuilder configuration tool.
The step-by-step process allows you to visually build an installation—if you’re a consumer or a professional installer you can take advantage of this. You’ll go through the type of construction you’re dealing with, add parts, calculate weight capacity and drop distance and have everything saved and available in a PDF with an image.
For installers, there’s an Easy Bid Spec Form on the website, as well as the ability to have it linked to company websites.
And of course, like other web configurators this one’s pretty fun to use. It might not be quite like picking out flooring or paint colors online, but it makes the job easy.
