Chief’s Thinstall Series of TV wall mounts
It’s not just the televisions that are getting flatter and flatter these days. Accessories are heading that way too, including the mounts that are used to attach a flat-panel TV to a wall.
Case in point is Chief Manufacturing’s new Thinstall Series of low-profile mounts. The line has Chief’s proprietary features such as Glide Lock tool-less latching, so they can be installed faster and easier.
The Thinstall Series one-piece custom mounts also offer steel construction, lateral shift, open wall plate for convenient electrical placement, and a weight capacity of 175 pounds—plenty to spare with today’s light flat panels.
The first Thinstall mount, the PSMT2015, starts shipping today. It’s been designed to complement Hitachi’s 1.5 UltraThin HDTVs, and has a depth of 0.49-inch. Other Thinstall models will ship as they become available.
