Channel Vision is celebrating 20 years of business with the new 6821-O Varifocal Eyeball Dome Camera that is designed to help it integrate into a wider variety of environments through an upgraded exterior appearance.
The 6821-O, which comes in an oil-rubbed bronze finish, is waterproof IP66 rated and includes LED lighting options, allowing for use in areas where there is no ambient light or protective shelter.
Channel Vision says the camera incorporates a built-in on-screen display (OSD) to facilitate its integration into system scenarios that range from back-light and high-light compensation, to auto-white balance and motion detection applications.
Internally, the 6821-O Varifocal Eyeball Dome Camera uses a Sony 700TVL CCD, as well as a three-axis mount that helps installers to maneuver the camera to a good location for viewing. Other features include external focus and zoom control screws that are said to make it easy to dial in quality images from its 2.8-12mm varifocal lens.
The 6821-O Varifocal Eyeball Dome Camera carries an MSRP of $122.50.
