Stands for Cabasse’s Alcyone run an extra $350 per pair.
Cabasse speakers just got a whole lot cooler. Sure, they’ve always sounded good, but the Alcyone now puts the cool into a compact, circular package.
The 5.1 system has a matching Santorin 17 active subwoofer with a 6.5-inch driver, a 200-watt built-in amplifier, five satellites, and a full set of cables. It boasts peak power handling of 350 watts, a sensitivity rating of 91dB, and 8-ohm impedance.
Choose from black or white. Both are easy on the eyes—and easy on your meager mounting abilities, thanks to a secure, magnetic device.
Circular actually doesn’t cost too much; the system will cost $1,059 when it ships next month. If you want stands, expect to pay an extra $350 per pair.
