B&W’s Zeppelin Available Today
It's time to get the Led out -- or at least another iPod speaker system.

B&W’s Zeppelin is compact enough to tuck under your arm and take anywhere.

You may not agree that Zeppelin is the greatest band of all time, but you’d have to agree that B&W’s Zeppelin could be the greatest iPod speaker ever offered. Maybe I am just a sucker for a cool design and great sound…

The company must know that we have football on the brain because they just announced that this pigskin-inspired unit is now available for purchase.

The drive units are the same ones you’d find in the company’s M-1 system. If that’s all geek speak to you, just know that the amp can output 1x 50W (bass) 2x 25W (midrange/tweeter), the frequency range is 6dB at 47Hz and 22kHz, and its got an internal subwoofer driver.

Sure it’s cool—and cool doesn’t come cheap. Expect to pay $599 at Apple stores everywhere.

I think it’s kind of cool—certainly different, and I’m all for that. My husband said I wouldn’t have to sleep outside either.

That is just about the ugliest thing I have ever seen in the entertainment realm.  If I were to put that in our family room or on our bookshelf in the bedroom, I would be sleeping in the car.
