Looking for the gift that keeps on giving? Guitammer just announced an at-home ButtKicker kit, which will be available starting Black Friday.

The do-it-yourself kit transforms any piece of furniture into a wild ride, adding motion to every movie, CD or video game. Just attach it to any piece of furniture or the floor. No need to crank up the volume; the ButtKicker uses low-frequency audio transducers to provide realistic special effects. The new offering includes a 4-ohm ButtKicker Advance transducer, the BKA300-4 amplifier (115v) with an integrated wireless option, an optional stand, all of the cables you need, and a remote with preset EQ settings.

In case you’re worried that the 1-pound package won’t provide enough motion for your movie experience, there’s also a new wider couch/chair mounting accessory kit included.

Guitammer is working with AMC to add this technology into theaters starting in 2009. However, the company says you can add the same thing into your home starting Black Friday, for only $300. It will be available at Amazon, but they are currently taking orders for $400 with availability listed as two days prior.

The Butt-Kicker is a must have for a amazing home theater !  my friends and family can’t believe it when i crank up movies like 300, King Kong.  When i played Poloar Express it really feels like the train is coming thru your house !!!  you should have seen the look on my kids faces ...

The butkicker system was one of the best investments to my theater I ever made.  At the very least it let’s me watch a movie late at night, without keeping everyone upstairs awake from the subs rumbling.  I can turn both subwoofers down, and still get the great impact from explosions, giant robots, 67 shelby’s etc.  I would highly recommend a transducer to anyone that can accomodate another piece of gear.  I was wavering back and forth between another subwoofer, and the butt-kicker, until I realized that a $500 buttkicker system added more impact to my current setup than a $1200 sub did.

My 2 cents.
