Bowers & Wilkins just announced two additions to its lineup of Wireless Music Systems.
The new Z2 Wireless Music System and the Zeppelin Air will include wireless streaming via Apple AirPlay, as well as the option to dock devices with Apple’s new Lightning connector.
The Z2 is an entirely new product. Available in black or white finishes, the Z2 has a curved metal grille and the company’s Flowport technology designed for a tight bass performance. The Zeppelin Air is an update on the product that B&W announced back in 2011.
Both are very easy to set up, so users can dock one of the newer iOS devices with the Lightning connector. However, if that’s not an option, users can stream content wirelessly to either unit via Apple AirPlay and your favorite iOS portable, as well as a Mac or PC running iTunes. Each one is also compatible with the Bowers & Wilkins setup app, which is available free at the iTunes App Store.
Bowers & Wilkins will start selling the black version of the Z2 in April, with the white model arriving sometime in June. Both units have an MSRP of $399.99. The new version of the Zeppelin Air will be available in May, priced at $599.99.
