Boston Acoustics has the Horizon i-DS2 now available for purchase on its website.
How to make your iPod speaker stand out above the rest? Offer the grille in tasty colors such as caramel, chocolat, olive and chili pepper.
Boston Acoustics’ Horizon i-DS2 has grilles available in colors outside of the major food groups, too. Aside from that, it’s not much different from any of the other iPod dock/speaker sets. The unit promises to fill the room with all of your music, via a dockable iPod or auxiliary input. It also comes with the obligatory remote. PC World even calls out the system’s resemblance to Apple’s own Hi-Fi.
Of course, Boston Acoustics fans will want this unit because of the brand name, not just its good looks and swappable colors. Other features include dual 3.5-inch speakers, and 15 watts RMS/30 watts dynamic output power per channel.
You can switch out the grille to match your room and mood, but the body of the unit is available in good old white and black. The Horizon i-DS2 is available now for $180, via the company’s website.

This dock sounds better than my Bose or klisph dock hands down. Black grill is fine for me
