The latest in the outdoor line can withstand the harshest weather and temperature extremes.

Those BBQ invites are probably winding down, but you don’t have to say goodbye to outdoor entertainment just yet. Boston Acoustics just came up with five new reasons to become one with nature, announcing new additions to its Voyager outdoor speaker line.

The five speakers boast water-resistant designs built to IEC 60529 IPX5 standards, as well as rust resistant hardware and connectors, powder-coated aluminum grilles and UV-resistant polypropylene cabinets. Those ingredients cook up the perfect recipe for outdoor use, leaving the speakers able to withstand the harshest weather and temperature extremes.

Designed for mounting to the side of a house, on a deck or porch, poolside, on a boat, or anywhere in need of sound, these rugged speakers can be used inside as well.

Common features across the Voyager line include Kortec dome tweeters, a Deep Channel (DCD) driver design, acoustical voicing for open-air environments, aluminum C-brackets and unique wedge shape design.

The new models include the 2-way, 4.5-inch Voyager 40 ($279.99), the 2-way, 5.25-inch Voyager 50 ($399.99), the 2-way, 6.5-inch Voyager 60 ($499.99), and the 2-way, 7.5-inch Voyager 70 ($749.99). All four of those are priced per pair. The last new speaker in the series, the 6.5-inch Metro II Stereo, is sold on its own, for $399.99 each.

Available in black or white, all five of the new Voyager speakers will start shipping this month.
