BlueLounge is selling Sanctuary—a portable case that not only charges multiple electronic devices, but carries them as well.

It’s sort of like a man-purse, with plenty of compartments for a wallet, change, keys, as well as an iPod, cell phone, or other portable electronic device. BlueLounge says that the charger is compatible with over 1,500 different devices from more than 35 different brands.

“People today stay connected through a variety of portable, electronic devices. Unfortunately, these items are often misplaced or left uncharged. That is why I created The Sanctuary,” says Dominic Symons, principal of Bluelounge. “The Sanctuary is the ‘universal’ charging station for all of one’s personal electronics. It’s a beautifully simple solution to a real everyday problem.”

Available in black or white, the unit also has a reversible black/tan inner tray, in case you have any interest in coordinating. The Sanctuary is available now for $130.

Hey Jeff: I think it is meant to carry all of your stuff… but you’ll need to plug it in for power. Sorry if that was confusing. Still kind of cool though, instead of having to fish out everything and hook it up individually.

Rachel,
I read the info on their website and i do not believe this device is intended to be portable.
From their own literature it appears to be one of those “charger cord clutter” reducing devices but I see nothing that implies that you would want to carry it around like a purse.

Too bad as that is what caught my interest…
