Blu-Ray Review: The Devil Inside
Effective scares are sprinkled in with standard documentary style footage.
May 23, 2012 by EH Staff

Told documentary style, The Devil Inside features some chills and scares, but the exorcism-based film isn’t all that compelling. Despite this, the movie had a blockbuster opening during its first week in theaters before steeply declining.

Home Theater Forum’s Neil Middlemiss reviewed the Blu-ray release and had these thoughts:

The look of this film is a product of the locations and lighting chosen where, for the most part, it appears natural light was used as primary source.

Dialogue is heavily focused in the center channel and, without issues to speak of; the audio is as to be expected.
