Despite the film having many hallmarks of traditional Quentin Tarantino style, the quality of Echo Bridge’s third release of From Dusk Till Dawn can be compared to the old baseball saying of three strikes and you’re out.

Video
Detail is very good for the most part, although a few scenes appear soft. Flesh tones lean towards orange, which I do not recall in prior laserdisc and DVD versions, nor in its original theatrical run. Colors are vibrant, though, never bleeding. Blacks, however, do appear crushed on a few occassions.
Audio
The 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track is a bit of a treat. Dynamic range is excellent, with exceptional stereo separation and active surrounds and LFE.
