Better get your wallet ready; we have quite a good week for Blu-ray releases.
This week is filled with crashes, thrashes, and things that will make you jump. This week, we get a 2D and 3D release of the superhero super-group, The Avengers. However, we are giving our pick of the week to one of the greatest heroes of all-time, Bond—James Bond.
This week, MGM released Bond 50, a mega-box set with every Bond movie ever to grace the big screen (even the bad ones!). The 23-disc set includes all of the adventures of Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig, as well as a full disc of extras.
Assuming you can get through the Bond set, we still have those superheroes, two notable TV shows with new installments, and a little something from the Resident Evil franchise.
Did we miss one of your favorites for the week? Have something to say about one of this week’s new releases? Sound off in the comments below. Otherwise, all of these titles are out now, except where noted. Enjoy!
