This is certainly an interesting week for James Cameron fans. The director has two new (sort of) releases this week. And surprise (!)—both are available in 3D.
By default, our spotlight for the week goes to one the biggest movies of all time, Titanic. Love it or hate it, the film is very cool visually—and even more so in 3D. Cameron added the 3D effects for the film’s theatrical re-release. He also followed it up with a deep-sea documentary about the real-life wreckage, which is also available as a 3D release this week.
If you aren’t into 3D films or aren’t equipped to handle the technology, there are plenty of other good looking releases, including a dark take on Snow White and another installment of the Starz hit, Spartacus. There are also plenty of cute (but faux pregnant) famous people in the adaptation of What To Expect When You’re Expecting, which is weirdly based on the best-selling book.
Did we miss one of your favorites for the week? Have something to say about one of this week’s new releases? Sound off in the comments below. Otherwise, all of these titles are out now, except where noted. Enjoy!
