Hitchcock, classic horror and a few pre-election giggles; get a peek at this week's new and notable releases.
October 30, 2012 by Rachel Cericola

With so many people looking to stay out of the path of Hurricane Sandy, we all have the perfect excuse to hang out on the couch and catch up on a few Blu-rays.

In fact, you’re going to need some time off from work to get through this week’s pick—Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection. This massive 15-disc set has 15 classic films, 13 of which are making their high-def debut.

Once you get through that, we have a few other interesting selections, including one of our Halloween picks, something for the upcoming holiday season, and a little comedy to take your mind off the election (or not at all).

Did we miss one of your favorites for the week? Have something to say about one of this week’s new releases? Sound off in the comments below. Otherwise, all of these titles are out now, except where noted. Enjoy!
