Summer is in full swing, and so are Blu-ray releases! If you don’t want to venture out to a crowded theater, this week offers plenty of sequels, a few classics, and the more serious side of director Tyler Perry.
It’s hard to pick a standout Blu-ray for this week, since Criterion has three new, notable releases out. No doubt you should be able to find something that you like. If not, there is a pair of blockbuster sequels and Perry’s all-star dramedy, Good Deeds. In other words, there’s enough to give your big-screen setup a decent workout.
Did we miss one of your favorites for the week? Have something to say about one of this week’s new releases? Sound off in the comments below. Otherwise, all of these titles are out now, except where noted. Enjoy!
