It looks like several of the movie studios are already on holiday; there aren’t too many new Blu-ray releases this week. What is new isn’t really “new,” though—since all of them are blasts from the past.
In honor of tomorrow’s festivities, we are going with Born on the Fourth of July for this week’s pick. A stellar Tom Cruise just narrowly beat out a sexy, late ‘60s Jane Fonda. His portrayal of real-life vet Ron Kovic is one of director Oliver Stone’s best films, as well as a must-see.
Otherwise, this week has a pair of Disney’s lesser-known features and a film with some pretty funky dance moves. Take a peek and see what you think.
Did we miss one of your favorites for the week? Have something to say about one of this week’s new releases? Sound off in the comments below. Otherwise, all of these titles are out now, except where noted. Enjoy!
