This is the week we’ve all been waiting for—at least when it comes to new Blu-ray releases.

The pick of the week is absolutely JAWS. Steven Spielberg’s killer tale just barely edged out The Hunger Games for our spotlight. Now, we know Katniss Everdeen is a serious badass with better sequel potential, but we’ve been waiting for this great white to get a great Blu-ray debut for a long time.

Besides blood and violence, we have—well, more blood and violence. (Thanks Dexter!) There are a few other noteworthy releases for the week, though. You know, the kind that won’t have you sleeping with the lights on.
