Acer’s X1200-B1581A is the only one of the three new models that comes with a 22-inch LCD display.
SlideshowWould you consider an Acer when choosing a desktop? The company plans to make that decision a no-brainer with its X1200 series.
This line of new desktops packs in plenty of features, without hogging all of your home office space.
Each of the three new models measures a mere 10.6 x 4 x 14.4 inches, but packs the punch of an AMD dual-core processor, on-board NVIDIA GeForce 8200 graphics, 4GB of RAM, a DVD burner, Vista Premium 64, 7.1-channel audio, and plenty of ports and slots. The X1200-B1581A also throws in a 22-inch LCD display.
“Aspire X1200 was designed to be an appealing, easy to use media hub for making the most of entertainment,” said Stephanie Hatchel, senior manager of Retail Desktop Product Planning for Acer America. “From broadcasting MP3s in crystal clear acoustics to showcasing movies, this compact system is a multimedia powerhouse and available at a price today’s budget-minded consumers will appreciate.”
The X1200-U1520A ($450) and X1200-U1510A ($460) are available now. The premium X1200-B1581A will be available on July 13 for $700. Get a glimpse of the X1200 in the slideshow.
