BG Radia’s Z-92 (left) and Z-62 speakers in light maple
The high-performance speakers from BG Radia don’t come gift-wrapped with ribbon, but instead the ribbon on the inside is what makes these babies tick.
The latest in BG’s planar ribbon loudspeaker offerings include the three-way floorstanding Z-92 and the LCR Z-62, both of which look as sweet as they sound.
Available in black ash and light maple, the Z-92 towers go for $1,249.50 each MSRP, while the Z-62 is $999 apiece.
Dimensions for the Z-92 are 44.25 inches high by 7.7 inches wide and 14 deep. Both new Z models use stiff aluminum cones and acoustically transparent cast-chassis to ensure clarity and high resolution audio even at peak levels, the company says.
The planar ribbon drivers combined with the two 6.5-inch aluminum cone woofers, rubber surrounds and neodymium magnet system will have your ears popping with brilliant-sounding bass lines and explosions among the low frequencies in your music and movies.
