Earlier this morning, we mentioned getting out this weekend to experience electronics at the CEA’s Demo Days event. Maybe you’re busy. Best Buy is making getting up-close with electronics a possibility every single day, thanks to new partnerships with Sony and Samsung.

Sony just announced plans to launch the “Sony Experience at Best Buy” at 350 Best Buy locations nationwide. It’s sort of like a store within a store, with an emphasis on 4K and home theater. Besides actual products, the displays will include interactive demonstration areas and dedicated Sony Experience Experts.

Although the space will include TVs for every budget and application, Sony seems to be putting an emphasis on 4K. Shoppers can expect to see a variety of Sony 4K Ultra HD TVs on display, as well as 4K Ultra HD Media Players (FMP-X1 and FMP-X10) and the 4K HandyCam camcorder (FDR-AX100), soundbars and other audio products, the PlayStation 4 and more.

However, you won’t just be looking at pretty pictures. Sony and Best Buy are inviting shoppers to interact with the products using onsite touchscreens. Visitors can control products, compare 4K Ultra HD TVs alongside HDTVs with HD video and native 4K content, check out a TRILUMINOS Display in person, and more.

“The Sony Experience will give consumers a shopping experience unlike anything before,” said Mike Mohan, Best Buy’s chief merchandising officer. “Sony’s 4K Ultra HD televisions have to be seen to be believed. Our newly transformed home theater areas will, for the first time, allow customers to test, try and experience how all of the Sony products work together.”

However, it doesn’t look like Sony will be consuming too much of the retailer’s space. This announcement comes one day after Samsung said it would be putting the Samsung Entertainment Experience into 500 Best Buy locations in the U.S. The company’s portion of the store will specifically highlight Samsung’s Curved UHD TVs, in addition to other TVs and products like the Shape Wireless Audio Multiroom System. Samsung-trained Best Buy associates will also be available at each location.
