Straight outta Compton (where the company is located)... Belkin has announced an 8-outlet surge protector that helps save energy, which translates to a few extra bucks in your pocket.

The Conserve has plenty of spots for your electronic goodies, and a remote to keep you in check with it comes to sucking up electricity. The remote allows you to shutoff power to all of the outlets—except two, which are perfect for anything you are truly addicted to.

Conserve is expected to hit retail shelves this summer for $49.99.
