Many like to look at Bang & Olufsen products, but when it comes down to making a purchase—well, they can be a bit pricey.

The 32-inch BeoVision 8 is no exception, although it’s a bit more affordable then their usual fare.

This one is the perfect size for the bathroom, kitchen or other room that demands constant entertainment—but it’s also big enough that no one would scoff at that size in your living room. At least I wouldn’t; I’d be downright jealous!

However, it’s not the size that will make you want to hang one on your wall. B&O says that instead of enduring sound from the usual side speakers, their integrated center-channel speaker makes it seem as if audio is actually coming from the people, places and things on the screen. As long as I don’t start to see Dr. House talk directly to me, all should be OK.

Other highlights include a 1366 x 768 resolution, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, and 500 cd/m2 luminance.

It isn’t the flattest, cheapest, or biggest boy on the block, but the brand name and included Beo4 remote should surely impress your friends and foes. That kind of clout will still cost you though—a cool $3,950.
