Need help matching technology to your home’s decor? You aren’t alone. Instead of trying to find someone to commiserate with online, Bang & Olufsen is offering a bit of professional help.
The company just launched the “Inspirational Living” campaign, a design initiative that will help consumers blend technology into everyday decor.
B&O has enlisted artists Marco Evaristti, Anja Alfieri, Hans Blomquist and Elisa Ossino to offer interior design tips on the company’s website. One person can even get an in-home consultation and makeover. B&O is hosting a contest offering that as the grand prize, in addition to a new BeoVision 10-46 LCD TV. That TV alone is valued at $10,650.
The initiative actually started last week. In the U.S., Bang & Olufsen showrooms honored the occasion with extended 5-year warranties, price reductions on all BeoVision 10 models, and a Facebook deal on the BeoSound 8 iPhone/iPod/iPad docking system.
To get in on the giveaway, you’ll need to visit a B&O store. The contest ends on April 30, 2012, with the company planning to announce a winner on May 1.
