This 9,000-square-foot backyard boasts a custom swimming pool that spans one-third of the length of the yard, waterfalls, a walking bridge over the pool, an elevated hot tub with waterfalls, a putting green, basketball court, tether ball, and batting cage with pitching machine.

From there you can make your way into the outdoor gazebo/kitchen, or sitting areas near the fire pit. And, oh by the way, there’s a ton of A/V back there, too.

It’s all courtesy of the work by The Wiring Guy in Calabasas, Calif. These homeowners can soak in just about anything, from a couple of slickly mounted TVs to plenty of audio for blasting—all controllable via an RTI U2 waterproof remote.

The outdoor kitchen/gazebo boasts a 42-inch TV and four 8-inch three-way Sonance speakers in a custom tongue and groove ceiling, according to The Wiring Guy’s Andrew Schneider. The 24 x 24-square-foot space has a table in the middle that seats eight, with plenty to keep everyone busy—including the food and drink options from the full kitchen including grill, beer keg cooler, pizza oven, and a refrigerator.

After dinner, guests can make their way to the patio sitting area. It features a fireplace with a 42-inch TV mounted over it and four more 8-inch three-way Sonance speakers mounted in the ceiling. “The area has a full array of furniture to rest and relax while you take in the sights from a 270 degree view,” says Schneider.

A Sonance music distribution system, ReQuest audio server and DirecTV HD receivers supply a variety of content—and along with the Sonance speakers there are even StereoStone rock speakers that blend right in with the decor. “This is without a doubt,” Schneider says, “an entertainers’ back yard.”
