Neither rain, nor snow, nor barbecue pool party can put a damper on your need to rock out outside.
Axiom Audio has announced a new addition to its weatherproof, outdoor Algonquin line. The addition of slate black might not seem all that big a deal, but that little splash of color usually runs an extra $60 per pair. However, for a limited time, you can pick and choose colors based on your mood, not your budget.
“Slate Black is the most popular upgrade color among our Algonquin customers. It’s the perfect choice for an unobtrusive installation, whether under an eave, alongside a walkway, or tucked amid shrubbery or other landscaping—plus it’s invisible at night,” says Ian Colquhoun, president and chief designer of Axiom Audio. “With summer months coming and people spending more time outdoors, there couldn’t be a better time to take advantage of this limited edition offer.”
Incorporating a 1-inch titanium tweeter and 6.5-inch aluminum woofer, the unit can work in almost any application—including tub time, since it’s built to withstand all of the steam and splash fights. Other features include a frequency response of 60 Hz-22 kHz at +/-3 dB and an in-room SPL or 92dB.
The Algonquins are available in a variety of colors for $330 per pair. Axiom can also custom-match colors for an extra $60. The slate black speakers are available at no additional cost through June 15.
