Those waiting for a 3D version of the “Avatar” Blu-ray shouldn’t have to wait too much longer. According to Twice, the biggest movie of all time will finally come to 3D Blu-ray this December.
Don’t get too excited, though; the release will be an exclusive to Panasonic. The manufacturer just announced another leg in its partnership with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, which will give that specific privilege to Panasonic customers for an undetermined time.
This is not the first time that Panasonic has hosted an “Avatar”-related promotion. The company previously offered a $25 rebate with the purchase of the 2D Blu-ray release and a Panasonic Blu-ray player.
The details of the upcoming deal have yet to be announced. But it sounds like the 3D Blu-ray will somehow be connected to the purchase of a Panasonic 3D VIERA plasma TV.
