For manufacturers it’s tough to get better PR coverage than being spotlighted on a television show. Auralex Acoustics recently had such an opportunity for its involvement in a rebuilding project on an episode of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in November.
The acoustics company was one of many used for the renovation of a New Jersey family’s home. New York installer Dale Pro Audio recommended Auralex’s products for the bedroom of the family’s oldest son, who wants to be a DJ/musician and financially help his single father and four younger brothers as well.
Now when the son is spinning tracks in his room, he’ll have some top-notch acoustics that came in the form of four B22 Elite ProPanels, five T’Fusors, 12 S3CT SonoSuedes, two AudioTile 24 packs and an AudioTile Corner Turn.
You can check out how the entire home—rebuilt in a span of one week—including the son’s bedroom turned out online by catching the full episode at http://abc.go.com/primetime/xtremehome/index. The episode aired Nov. 11.
