AudioControl has a new amp option to pump up your home theater’s performance. The company just announced The Director Model D4400.

Designed to be a true centerpiece of any AV setup, the D4400 can drive 16 channels of audio at 100 watts per channel. It includes on-board digital signal processing (DSP), graphic and parametric equalization by zone, network monitoring, and programming and control.

Because the D4400 can be networked, installers have the option to control and monitor the component both on-site and remotely. Other features include zone selection and control via standard TCIP, remote 12-volt zone trigger via Ethernet control, and much more.

“The Director Model D4400 is one of the most flexible, high performance, best sounding network amplifier available today, said Alex Camara, AudioControl’s CEO. “With its unique design and feature set it has rightly been described as an audiophile performance powerhouse”.

The Director Model D4400 is housed in a compact 3U rack unit with removable rack mounts as a standard feature. Available in black or a brushed stainless steel finish, the D4400 will start shipping this month. Contact AudioControl to find your nearest dealer/rep.
