Sometimes your entertainment needs a little boost. What began as a video calibration for the projector, spiraled into an entirely new system—including acoustic panels.

Dan Francis of Francis Custom Theaters LLC wasn’t trying to sell new speakers to this client—only because the previous equipment was still in great condition, but just wasn’t integrated into the room properly. However, the homeowner was determined to get an upgrade.

Another challenge was to integrate the electronics into the two small cabinets that were already at the front of the room, and have nothing show but the speakers. After the speakers were installed, and the system had been “shaken-down” for a while, CAT’s engineers came in and tuned the speakers to the client’s room, leaving him with the best performance possible for that room.
