With more and more people storing video content on their computers, products that can transfer programming from a PC to an HDTV display are in hot demand.
Atlona Technologies, a manufacturer of audio/video connectivity solutions, and Wisair, a provider of single-chip-based wireless USB solutions, have developed a Wireless USB Display Adapter Set that can handle the task, delivering video, Internet content and photos to monitors and projectors.
The HDAiR features VGA and HDMI outputs, with the ability for both outputs to transmit simultaneously. It supports a range of 30 feet in the same room, and supports up to a 1400x1050 screen resolution.
Atlona is demonstrating the capabilities of the wireless USB adapter at the National Broadcaster’s Show in Las Vegas, April 20-23, in Las Vegas, and expects it to be available in retail stores in May for a retail price of $199.
