Tonight, NBC’s “Chuck” will get the full 3D treatment, with the entire episode viewable with those great paper glasses.
3D is expected to be the next big trend from electronics manufacturers, and even research says that it is gaining momentum.
Football is already getting the treatment, with a Chargers-Raiders game in December shot in 3D.
And if you watched the Super Bowl, you saw a number of commercials shot in 3D and previews for upcoming 3D movies.
So, with a primetime show being shown in 3D tonight, we want to know if you’ve got the glasses and are watching.
Let us know if you’ll be watching the show tonight, and then leave a comment and let us know why.
It was pretty good. What you gain in dimensions, you lose a little in color and picture quality. That might just be from the cheap-o glasses though.
So how was it? I didn’t see it.
Yes I will. My wife and I actually have the first disc of the first season from Netflix that we need to start but I’ll jump ahead to watch tonight’s episode.
Should TV manufacturers offer dumbed-down TVs that focus on image quality rather than apps?

Say hello to home control in this high-tech palace, circa 2006.
I thought it was lame. I couldn’t watch it all the way through in 3D, had to take off the glasses and watch it normally. That of course made the colors weird at times but it was better than those crapola glasses, that made the picture to dim and fuzzy, and the 3D effect was not that effective either.
I hope other shows don’t try this anytime soon.
