Less than a month after Apple announced its RED Special Edition nano, they are announcing, well—another RED nano.

Like the other model, this one has a red enclosure, and a portion of the proceeds goes to the Global Fund. Don’t get me wrong: It’s very nice, but is it me, or does the $10 donation per unit seem, I don’t know… cheap? How much could it possibly cost to make a nano?

I guess at least they are doing something, which includes doubling the storage, to hold about 2,000 songs.

Both editions of the RED nano are now available.

  • $249
  • 8GB of storage
  • Red aluminum enclosure
  • Holds up to 2,000 songs
  • Boasts 24 hours of battery life
  • 4GB model also available
