Aperion just announced a tall, dark and handsome addition to its Intimus speaker line.

The Intimus 4T is a 2-way tower of power, with dual 4-inch woven fiberglass composite mid-woofers and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter. Designed to accompany Aperion’s 4B bookshelf speakers, these slender units pack a punch. Specs include a frequency response of 55Hz to 20,000Hz (+/- 3dB) and a sensitivity rating of 86dB. Each unit can also handle power up to 150 watts.

“Customers asked for small, high performance tower speakers for their new flat panel TVs because the options are incredibly limited,” says CEO Winthrop Jeanfreau.

Measuring 34 x 5 x 7.5 inches, the 4Ts are available in gloss black and real cherry finishes. They are designed to be part of a larger package, or can easily stand on their own in any small to medium sized rooms.

Each 4T speaker also comes with 5-way gold-plated binding posts, as well as a set of floor spikes and footers, for easy, sturdy placement.

The Intimus 4Ts are available now from Aperion for $650 per pair.
