Spending plenty of time outdoors this summer and looking for an entertainment fix out there?

Options to get those favorite tunes of yours on the patio and poolside abound, and now there’s another trusted speaker manufacturer getting its feet wet with an outdoor product. Oregon-based Aperion Audio is now offering its Intimus Outdoor Speaker for your listening pleasure in the great outdoors.

Don’t worry about leaving the Intimus out there, as it features a weather and UV-resistant cabinet, and is available in Alpine White or Satin Black.

At $149 apiece, you can pop a few around the deck, under eaves or in the landscaping for plenty of coverage at not a huge cost. They come with an aimable mounting system so you can point them toward the main listening areas—and not at your neighbors.

Aperion has also given the Intimus an adjustable bass switch, so it’s easy for you to raise or lower the amount of low-frequency boom you need to add in your yard.

Other features include:

  • 1” silk-dome tweeter
  • 6.5” dual voice coil, woven-fiberglass woofer
  • Acoustically transparent, powder-coated metal grille
  • 5-way gold-plated binding posts
  • Ten-year warranty

You can even test them out with Aperion’s 30-day “in-home audition” and there’s free shipping to and from Oregon.
