If only Barry White were alive to put Anthony Gallo‘s new unit to the test. The TR-3 expands upon its predecessor (you guessed it, the TR-2) by recalibrating the amplifier and adding an aluminum cone woofer, which improves sound quality, particularly linearity.

Other features include a bass from 22Hz to 180Hz, a bass equalizer that goes up to 6dB and a total output of 300 watts RMS.

“This new sub is certainly not for the faint of heart,” says Derek Covin, vice president of national sales for AGA. Ready for that challenge? Choose either black or silver and strap yourself in.
