Another receiver is making the rounds! Anthem just announced that they are now shipping the MRX 300.
Although Anthem is billing this as an entry-level receiver, it’s certainly no slouch. Features include seven channels of amplification, HD Radio, four HDMI inputs and the ability to run Anthem Room Correction (ARC). Anthem is also offering an optional 3D upgrade for users that want it. That’s available for free, on Anthem’s website.
Other features include upscaling to 1080p 60Hz, composite/component video to HDMI conversion, a dual-processor audio DSP and decoding for all the major audio formats.
The MRX 300 is now shipping with an MSRP of $999.
