The HD DVD deal is one of the many in-store offers tomorrow at Wal-Mart.
Sure there are no Wiis to be found, but high-def DVD seems to want the “must-have” moniker this shopping season—there’s yet another sale/free movie deal to be had!
Wal-Mart says they are having a secret in-store sale tomorrow, which will have the Toshiba HD-A3 player with 12 free movies for $298. Can’t be that secret; it’s on their website.
Engadget says the 12 movies include two that come in the box, five you’ll get when you buy the player, and five you’ll need to order by mail. There’s no word on what ones you’ll go home with, although the ad says the offer only includes ones under $30.
The shoving starts tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.—and expect plenty of that. Other sale items include a 50-inch Vizio plasma for $998, a Gateway laptop for $398, a 1GB iPod shuffle for $78, and a 40GB PS3 with $50 gift card for $399.

Amazon.com has the same model with 12 Movies and free shipping for about $224.98 (About $90 savings off Wal*mart price after tax for me)
