If you were one of the many to buy Amazon’s Kindle Fire, your cheapness is about to be rewarded. HBO just announced plans to put HBO GO on the Kindle Fire, even though it’s still unavailable to other Android tablets. You’re welcome.

Of course, to access HBO GO, you need to be an HBO subscriber. They don’t give our Boardwalk Empire for free, you know. The app is free, though, and provides access to about 1,400 HBO titles on demand.

Other on-demand options include Game of Thrones and True Blood, as well as classics like The Sopranos and Deadwood. HBO’s library of original films, documentaries and specials are also available.

HBO GO features the capability to bookmark content in a personalized Watchlist, as well as create a Series Pass so you won’t miss an episode.

Amazon’s Kindle Fire offers access to over 20 million movies, TV shows, magazines, newspapers, books, songs, apps and games. It also throws in free storage, via Amazon Cloud. The Kindle Fire can be had now, for $199.
