Planning on going the do-it-yourself route with your media room or dedicated theater setup? You can try to optimize the room’s audio setup by heading over to Amazon these days.
That’s where acoustical treatment provider Auralex Acoustics has decided to stock up on its direct-to-consumer retail biz.
A quick “Auralex” search will bring you options like Wedgie foam diffusers, SubDude subwoofer isolation risers, MOPAD sound isolation pads, SheetBlok roll of mass-loaded vinyl, Studiofoam pyramid panels, bass traps, liquid foam adhesive and other sonic helpers for your system and room environment.
Auralex’s treatments range as workhorses for the home theater realm to the aspiring musician’s studio, and they’ll get to your door in 3-5 business days from Amazon, the company says.
Prices vary, with some panels reaching upwards of $1,199 (though most of the products look to be less than $350), and are eligible for Amazon’s free Super Saver shipping of orders more than $25.
