ADA’s Suite 8200 multiroom receiver
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it ... just tweak it a little. That’s what Audio Design Associates (ADA) has done to its popular Suite 8100 multiroom receiver for its latest distributed audio solution.
The ADA Suite 8200 multiroom receiver adds a dual AM/FM tuner to the 8-zone, 8-source (16 channel) preamplifier/amplifier chassis.
It also incorporates a Class A/B amplifier for 25 watts per channel stable down to 4 ohms, as opposed to the 8100’s Class D amp.
The Suite 8200 also features pre-amplified (variable) line-level audio inputs for each zone, with zones 1 and 2 also having variable line-level subwoofer outputs.
The increased flexibility and enhanced sound helps make it more of a “His and Hers” multiroom solution, ADA says. MSRP is $4,999, and units are now shipping.
