Accell Shows Off Multi-HDMI Switch
The new UltraAV 4-8 HDMI switch provides access to up to four HDMI devices.
December 27, 2007 | by Rachel Cericola

When the Consumer Electronics Show kicks off in a little over a week, Accell will be there displaying its new UltraAV 4-8 HDMI switch.

Sure it may look like a little black box, but this baby has four HDMI inputs and eight HDMI outputs. It’s the kind of device that commercial environments crave, but you can have it in your home for $299.

Designed for multi-display projects, the box can route multichannel audio from up to four sources, as well as high-def video up to 1080p.

The built-in signal booster supports HDMI cable runs up to 82 feet. Another feature is the Infrared Extender, which is typically an optional add-on that enables a remote to interact with the switch without the need for line-of-sight.

This must be a misprint...only $299!  This switch look like a winner.
