B&W’s Zeppelin Mini
Music and iPod fans don’t have to get dazed and confused, or go to California to climb the stairway to audio heaven to buy a stylish, compact, performance-oriented audio system. But enough with the Led Zeppelin puns ...
Bower & Wilkins’ (B&W) new Zeppelin Mini is the newest audio solution from the well-respected British company.
The new Mini is a smaller version of the company’s popular Zeppelin iPod/iPhone audio system and the Internet retailer Amazon.com is offering pre-order sales on the Zeppelin Mini, which is expected to start shipping in early November.
B&W engineered the Mini to utilize many of its proprietary technologies, including its new full-range 3-inch fiberglass drivers, slotted cones and a new long-throw motor assembly that B&W says helps the Mini to produce an extended frequency range and higher dynamics.
In addition, B&W also incorporates digital signal processing (DSP) to handle equalization and Class D amplification technologies to power the Mini’s speaker system.
