A Peek at Oscar’s Best Picture Contenders on Blu-ray

Every year when Oscar nominees are announced in January, a lot of audiences are typically left thinking, “What now?”

It’s true that sometimes the Academy picks pretty obscure (or obvious) choices. However, this year there are a total of nine Best Picture nominees, which means that you should be able to find something that you like—especially since a lot of them are currently on Blu-ray.

Before the winners are announced, you may want to check our list for a peek at this year’s Best Picture contenders, as well as each one’s current at-home status. Also, if you’re waiting for these releases to hit store shelves or are already caught up (wow!), we’ve got a few other suggestions that could help to kill some time before this weekend’s big show.
