The television is the one piece of technology that gets the most use in your home. You probably have multiple TVs, and when you buy one you expect it to last for several years. It’s almost a shame that they keep improving so rapidly, because every year there are new features you can’t resist.

This year, and over the next few years, several new innovations and technologies may dramatically change the way you interact with your TV. Many of the changes happening to TVs are a result of broadband connections and smart TV features, while others are more a matter of market pressure.
