After three years of kicking ideas around at the office, Threshold Corp. has decided to share some of their plans with the rest of us.

The company's technology will center around a Home Server that will be available at retail. Using wireless technology, the company hopes to hit as many people and make their products as simple as possible.

Set up your system right on the Server's touchscreen. From there, you can manage everything through the Web.

Threshold is currently working on a number of patents. Its first products to be made available will automate temperature management, security, and surveillance/safety monitoring. -- Rachel Cericola
