These days, so many people are running wireless home networks for connect multiple computers and printers, as well as wireless A/V systems to transmit movies, music and photographs. The airwaves around the home can get pretty cluttered with all of those signals, and even conflict with one another.
Motorola's E51 wireless telephone system avoids the clutter by using the 5.8-GHz bandwidth spectrum, allowing users to run their wireless 802.11b home networks on the 2.4-GHz spectrum without any interference from a home's other wireless components.
The E51 system is capable of storing up to 50 names and provides homeowners with as many as three voicemail boxes. In addition, the system can handle up to four handsets and offers features such as redail, flash, mute, hold and hands-free intercom functions between rooms. -- Robert Archer
